Thanks for the rebroadcast Traci! A question: Is it okay to substitute a matt gel medium for the Collage Pauge for the monoprint acrylic skin technique? Would it work the same way?

You’re welcome Robin! Yes..you can substitute any type of Gel Medium or acrylic medium/paint for the acrylic skin technique. You’ll see some of the other mediums I use for acrylic skins in other class videos. I especially love working with Golden Fiber Paste and Molding Paste to create skins. You could even use Aleene’s Tacky Glue or Elmers school glue to create skins, although they might not be very archival. Like I say in all my classes…”use what you have on hand”, I like to share my favorite products. I encourage you and everyone to experiment, that’s the best way to find out if various mediums or tools work. Have fun and enjoy the process!!
