I had fun making these Traci! You are right, my hand hurt and had to take a break.
1). What is the best way you have found to store the stencils so they don’t stick to one another?
2). With larger images, the glue hardened in some areas before I could flatten. Do you work in sections? Any way to reheat to flatten?
Thanks for any insight you or others have tried or used.

Sharon,
I store mine in plastic page protectors and place themin a binder. Yes, I work in sections when I create large stencils. There is no way to reheat them, but you can always add more hot glue. Glad you had fun!

These look great Sharon….I need to get a better glue gun…were you using the same Aleene’s glue gun that Traci was using in her video? Mine is too puny and the glue comes out too sloooooowly 🙂

I have a larger gun that uses the thicker glue sticks. The nozzle appears larger than the Aileen’s model so I can’t get the detail Traci does. Mine is sufficient for the exercise. These can be addicting!

Love this! Does the tip of the glue gun actually make physical contact with the craft matt?

Yes Traci mentioned she draws right on the Teflon sheet (glue gun tip touches it). In my limited experience, I noticed it helps the glue flow better and more consistent as well.

Robin, yes I make sure the tip of my glue gun touches the Teflon. It makes it easier to control the shape and create a crisp line.
